Pupil Premium

Tees Valley Education is a Multi-Academy Trust and sponsor, which is currently made up of five academies across Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland. We know that nationally, children from deprived backgrounds underachieve compared to their non-deprived peers. Pupil premium is funding to improve education outcomes for disadvantaged pupils in schools in England. Evidence shows that disadvantaged children generally face additional challenges in reaching their potential at school and often do not perform as well as other pupils. and our pupil premium is used to help close this gap as much as possible.

We actively breakdown those barriers to enable ALL of our children to participate in all activities and therefore achieve age related outcomes, regardless of their social and economic status or family circumstances. Pupil Premium (PP) funding represents a significant proportion of our budget and we are committed to ensuring it is spent to maximum effect. Please visit the academy websites for further information on individual academies pupil premium funding.
